Our vision began in 2014 to provide family-style care for institutionalized children, and it continues to this day. We have learned a lot in the last 10 years and our passion remains. The families who were a part of the Safe Haven Village project in Zacapa have now all left the orphanage setting and continue ministering to disadvantaged children and families in Guatemala with a desire to end the cycle of institutionalization.

Several families have obtained legal custody of the children they cared for while in the institutional setting. These missionary families are pursuing various stages of permanency for these children, including models sucha as foster care and adoption. We continue by God’s grace to minister to “the least of these,” to quote Jesus’ words.

The work begun in 2014 is faithfully continuing to make a difference. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us. We are volunteer missionaries and could not do this work without you.

Mission
Our overall mission is to provide a loving, stable family environment for orphaned and abandoned children, fostering their physical, emotional, and spiritual growth, while also extending support to young adults transitioning to independence, and providing assistance to families in need.
